How Much Does Rehab at Jintara Cost?
Rehab at Jintara costs USD 12,500 for the 30-day program. That one fee covers your medical detox, your therapy and your daily life at the centre. During your stay, the only extra is any medication a doctor prescribes for you. You pay in 30-day blocks and never pay more than 30 days ahead.
Most people stay 30 to 60 days. The right length depends on your health, your history and how you respond, and the team talks it through with you as the weeks go by.

What Is Included in the 30-Day Program?
The USD 12,500 covers your medical care, your therapy and your day-to-day life at Jintara for 30 days, with no hidden fees.
- Medical detox on site, when it's clinically safe, for alcohol, opioids and benzodiazepines. Therapy starts alongside medical detox, with two individual sessions a week from the day you arrive
- A psychiatric assessment on the day you arrive
- A day 2 health check at Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai: full blood panel, liver and kidney function, EKG and chest X-ray
- Registered nurses awake on site 24 hours a day
- 65 to 70 hours of individual and group therapy across the 30 days
- Thai massage twice a week, and two one-to-one personal-training sessions a week
- A Saturday excursion every week, with a restaurant meal included
- Fresh meals cooked by a Thai chef, and both airport transfers

What costs extra?
Three things can cost more than the USD 12,500. We tell you about them before you book.
- Prescribed medication. Any medication a doctor prescribes during your stay.
- Hospital care before admission. If you need to be stabilized in hospital before you can safely start at Jintara, that hospital bill is yours.
- One-to-one sessions after you leave. Continued sessions with a therapist after discharge are available at extra cost.
Is Medical Detox Included in the Price?
Yes. Medical detox and the psychiatric assessment are part of the USD 12,500, with no separate detox bill. SAMHSA's TIP 45 chapter on physical detoxification lists seizures and delirium tremens among the most severe outcomes of alcohol withdrawal, so most of what you pay for in the first days is close medical watch.

- Nurses give every dose of medication and record it. Nobody manages their own medication
- Two partner hospitals, Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai and Chiang Mai Ram, are there if your health needs more than the centre can give
- Jintara holds a Ministry of Public Health licence and is independently accredited against Thailand's national standard for drug treatment and rehabilitation facilities, jointly certified by the Healthcare Accreditation Institute, the Princess Mother National Institute on Drug Abuse Treatment, and the Department of Medical Services. Certificate 25/2569, valid 20 May 2026 to 19 May 2029.

How Does Billing Work?
You pay Jintara in 30-day blocks, and Jintara never takes payment for more than 30 days ahead. If you stay longer than your first block, the extra time is billed week by week. A reservation deposit holds your room before you arrive.
- The deposit is non-refundable, and so is the 30-day block you're in
- Jintara doesn't give cash refunds

Will Health Insurance Pay for Rehab at Jintara?
No. Jintara does not accept insurance and does not bill insurers, so you pay Jintara directly. Some people hold an international or US policy that repays treatment abroad after they've paid. - Before you book, ask your insurer in writing whether it repays residential treatment outside your home country
- Plan to pay the full fee yourself, even if you expect to claim some of it back later
