Thailand was essentially closed for 18 months, and only recently opened its borders to tourists from around the world, with minimal restrictions.
Tourists from any country have 2 options to arrive in Thailand:
Sandbox program
The Sandbox program requires tourists to book 7-days in one of several tourist destinations, such as Phuket or Koh Samui, on an island-wide quarantine. What that means is that you will have a 7-day holiday on an island to overcome jetlag and get ready for treatment, able to visit beaches and tourist attractions.
You can read more about the Sandbox here
If interested in what hotels cost, you can have a look here.
Test and Go Program
The revised Test and Go Program allows tourists to travel to Thailand and book a Hotel/PCR test on Day 1 and Day 5 of their stay in Thailand, and then travel anywhere they want after that, but able to travel on the days in between Day 1 and Day 5.
You can read more about Test and Go here.
Regardless of which option you choose, Jintara will assign a Concierge to help you arrange your trip, advise on the best options, hotels and flights to make sure your arrival is as easy as we can make it.
If you have any questions at all, please contact us and we will be happy to explain.
