SO WHAT DO I NEED TO ARRIVE IN THAILAND?

Thailand is a very easy and convenient place to travel to, with flights from most places in the world, and plenty of daily connections to Chiang Mai, where ours staff will be waiting for you at Chiang Mai airport.

Visa requirements

Visa requirements

Most countries are able to get a 30-day Tourist (Visa Exemption) visa stamp on arrival by simply walking through the standard Immigration channel at whatever airport they land (most likely Bangkok or Chiang Mai).

If you are not sure if you qualify for a visa exemption, you can check the country list here on the Thai Embassy official Website.

If we need to extend your visa by an additional 30-days, our staff will arrange that in Chiang Mai Immigration and the cost is 1,900 Thai baht (approximately USD$56). Our staff plan everything and take you to immigration to make the process seamless and quick.

If a client plans on staying in treatment longer than 2 months, our staff manage a “visa run” to the border and accompany you in the car. You will be issued a new 30-day visa, where you can start the process as if you were a new arrival.

If you prefer to get a longer tourist visa (say, 3 months) prior to arrival, or you come from a non-visa exemption country, we can send you an invitation letter that should allow you to get a 2 or 3 month visa at your local Consulate.

COVID restrictions

There are currently no Covid restrictions for entering Thailand.

We will do a standard Covid test on arrival at Jintara, just as a safety precaution, but apart from that, travel to Thailand is very much the same as pre-Covid era.
